Therminol® VP-1 is designed for temperatures up to 400°C and can be used in both the gas and liquid phases of a thermal system. The system requires a static pressure of approximately 10 bar to operate in the liquid phase at high temperatures.

Therminol® VP-3 has a normal boiling point of 243°C, 14°C below the normal boiling point of Therminol® VP-1.
