Therminol® FF flushing fluid is an essential component of a cost-effective alternative to chemically cleaning a heat transfer system containing severely degraded or contaminated organic heat transfer fluid.
Deposits of oxidized, thermally degraded, or contaminated fluid can adhere to the surface of the piping system (known as fouling), making it necessary to clean the system before it is filled with new fluid. The installation to be cleaned must be taken out of production for flushing. If this is not desirable or possible, alternative cleaning methods are available. Various methods are possible, depending on the severity of the contamination.
