Aluminum stearate
Aluminium stearate is a metal soap based on stearic acid and aluminium. This product is used in industry as a thickener, hydrophobizing agent, anti-caking agent, and rheology modifier in various formulations. It is suitable for use in paints, varnishes, greases, lubricants, sealants, inks, and construction chemical systems, among others.
Due to its water-repellent nature and gelling effect, aluminium stearate helps improve the workability and stability of products. It contributes to controlled viscosity, better structure, and an even distribution of solid components in the final product. Additionally, it can reduce the tendency to settle, clump, or separate during storage and processing.
In production processes, aluminium stearate offers advantages where consistent product properties and process control are important. It supports a stable formulation and can positively influence the surface properties of the system. For industrial buyers and technical users, it is therefore a functional additive for applications where thickening, hydrophobization, and process stability are central.
