Granular activated carbon consists of irregularly shaped granules that are formed when charcoal paste is broken and sieved into specific size numbers. The 8×30 mesh (also called 8×30 mesh) and 12×40 mesh variants represent different particle sizes – a smaller mesh number equals larger particles.
GAC is the most versatile format for treatment filters and adsorption columns. It offers an excellent combination of rapid adsorption and high throughput capacity. This makes it ideal for both water and gas treatment in industrial systems.
