Therminol® VP-3 is a liquid / gas phase thermal oil, which has been specially developed to operate in the gas phase at lower
temperatures, lower than practically with the traditional diphenyl oxide / biphenyl compound thermal oil such as Therminol® VP1.
Therminol® VP-3 has a normal boiling point of 243°C, 14°C below the normal boiling point of Therminol® VP-1.
Laboratory thermal stability tests show that a maximum operating temperature of 330°C is possible in the liquid or gas phase.
A crystallization point of 2.4°C makes it easy to work with Therminol® VP-3, without the need for expensive tracing systems in mild climatic conditions.
