These properties result in reliable, consistent performance of heat transfer systems for many years. The performance of Therminol® 62 heat transfer fluids has been proven by years of industrial experience under diverse operating conditions. Therminol® 62 fluid is designed for use in indirect non-pressurized/low-pressure heating systems. It delivers efficient, reliable, uniform process heat without high pressure. The high boiling point of Therminol® 62 helps reduce volatility and fluid leakage issues associated with other fluids. The recommended maximum bulk temperature of 325°C and film temperature of 355°C are based on standard industry thermal studies. Operating at or below these temperatures can significantly extend the fluid's lifespan.
