FRAGOLTHERM® 550 is used for pressureless, indirect heating in heat transfer systems. Typical application areas include, for example, injection molding for the automotive industry, plastics processing, and temperature control processes for the building materials industry.
FRAGOLTHERM® 550 is used for pressureless, indirect heating in heat transfer systems. Typical application areas include, for example, injection molding for the automotive industry, plastics processing, and temperature control processes for the building materials industry.
FRAGOLTHERM® 550 can be used in the liquid phase within a temperature range of -10 °C to 315 °C. If the pumpability limit can be increased to 2000 mm²/s, an increase in the temperature range to -28 °C is possible.
The film temperature at the heating element must not exceed 335 °C.
When used in high-temperature ranges, a nitrogen blanket in the expansion vessel is recommended to prevent premature aging.
