Molecular Sieve 13X is the most advanced type of the zeolite group, with pore sizes of approximately 10 Ångstroms. These larger pores enable 13X to absorb larger molecules, including merkaptans and other heavier compounds found in natural gas.
13X is the gold standard medium for concentrate streams containing H₂S and mercaptans. The Li-impregnated variants (Lithium-exchanged) are used in ultra-high purity applications. This material is essential for refineries and petrochemical complexes where air separation is critical.
