DOWTHERM® RP heat transfer fluid is a very pure diaryl alkyl that provides excellent performance in liquid-phase heating systems operating between -20°C and 350°C.
It is the most thermally stable low-pressure liquid-phase heat fluid on the market.
This stability minimizes problems resulting from accidental overheating caused by flame operation, improper heating, or insufficient circulation.
Moreover, any degradation of DOWTHERM® RP fluid that occurs under normal operating conditions consists almost exclusively of low-boiling materials being removed from the system. Consequently, boiling sludge does not build up over time. This means that, under normal operating conditions, the fluid never needs to be replaced.
