Therminol® LT is a synthetic organic thermal fluid, it can be used in both, the liquid and gas phase. With a boiling point of 181˚C, Therminol® LT can be used in the liquid phase from -75˚C to + 181˚C at an ambient temperature or above 181˚C under pressure to 315˚C.

Therminol® LT is a synthetic organic thermal fluid, it can be used in both, the liquid and gas phase. With a boiling point of 181˚C, Therminol® LT can be used in the liquid phase from -75˚C to + 181˚C at an ambient temperature or above 181˚C under pressure to 315˚C.
The liquid has a flash point of + 57˚C, so that the correct fire safety measures are included in the system design. Therminol® LT offers designers and users of liquid phase systems, a liquid with excellent thermal stability, free from carbon formation and sludge formation problems and lower maintenance costs over a longer period of use. Therminol® LT also has excellent low temperature viscosity characteristics that ensure excellent pumpability of the oil at very low temperatures that facilitate a startup situation even at temperatures around -73°C, without the need for electrical tracing.
