Therminol® FF flushing fluid is an essential part of an inexpensive alternative to dry cleaning a heat transfer system containing severely degraded or contaminated organic heat transfer fluid.
Deposits of oxidized, thermally degraded, or contaminated fluid can adhere to the surface of the piping system (called fouling), making it necessary to clean the system before filling it with new fluid. The installation to be cleaned must be taken out of production to rinse it. If this is not desirable or possible, there are alternative cleaning methods. Different methods are possible, depending on the severity of the contamination.
