Therminol® D-12 is a thermal oil specially developed for process cooling in combination with moderately heated ring systems, which use a thermal oil instead of double steam / glycol systems. This thermal oil is very interesting for use in the pharmaceutical industry and for climate test cabinets.
Therminol® D-12 has a pressure-free range of application from -85°C to + 190°C, and up to 260°C under low pressure. Therminol® D-12 is based on a halogen-free chemistry and is considered to be non-hazardous and practically harmless to the climate. Therminol D12 has the following properties.
- Virtually odorless
- FDA – NSF registered with HT 1 status
- Cool / heat liquid
