Description
Therminol® 75 heat transfer fluid offers excellent thermal stability. It has been developed for use at temperatures up to 385°C in typical liquid phase heat transfer systems operating at low pressures.
A static pressure of only about 1.5 bar could maintain the liquid phase at high temperatures. Therminol® 75 liquid has heat transfer coefficients equivalent to or higher than other natural or synthetic liquids in the same boiling range. Due to its high boiling point (343°C), Therminol® 75 at 385°C generates very little vapor pressure above the ambient pressure and can be used in low pressure systems. Under ambient conditions, Therminol® 75 is a soft solid material with a slurry point of approximately 75°–80°C. It has a low odor level.
