Therminol® 62 heat transfer fluid offers excellent performance from -23°C to + 325°C, including excellent thermal stability and low vapor pressure.
These properties result in reliable, consistent performance of heat transfer systems over many years. The performance of Therminol® heat transfer fluids is proven by many years of industrial experience under various operating conditions. Therminol® 62 fluid is designed for use in indirect pressureless / low pressure heating systems. It provides efficient, reliable, uniform process heat without high pressure. The high boiling point of Therminol® 62 helps reduce the volatility and fluid leakage issues associated with other liquids. The recommended maximum bulk of 325˚C and film temperature of 355˚C are based on standard industry thermal studies. Working at or below mentioned temperatures can significantly extend the life of the fluid.
