Therminol® 54 is designed for use with low pressure / low pressure indirect heating systems. It provides an efficient, reliable and uniform process heating, without high pressure.
The high boiling point of Therminol® 54 aids in the reduction of volatility and thereby the liquid leakage problems associated with other liquids. The recommended maximum bulk temperature for Therminol® 54 is based on industry standard thermal studies. Operating at or below this maximum temperature will provide a longer life under many operating conditions. Therminol® 54 is a product for the medium temperature range from -28˚C to + 280˚C. and with its high-quality properties such as not forming a “fouling” in the pipe system, this is an excellent alternative to thermal fluids based on mineral oils.
