Description
Marlotherm® LH is often used for indirect heating of reactors and process installations, which are both heated and cooled by means of a central heat transfer system and systems where different users must be provided with different temperatures.
The thermal oil system must be designed and used in accordance with the recommendations of DIN 4754 “thermal installations operating with organic heat transfer fluids”.
Marlotherm® LH can also be used at operating temperatures above 280℃ in pressurized systems. The advantage of using Marlotherm® LH in this temperature range compared to pressureless systems with Marlotherm® SH should be assessed separately for each individual situation.
Due to the very narrow boiling range of 4℃, Marlotherm® LH can also be used in the gas-liquid phase, for example for reactor cooling or in exothermic processes.
