Rodutherm® W-KFA is well suited for the lower temperature range due to its optimized viscosity.
The thermal capacity is higher than that of other organic media. This leads to good heat transfer characteristics at low temperatures.
Rodutherm® W-KFA is only available as ready-mix and is not toxic and is quickly biodegradable.
Rodutherm® W-KFA is additivated with special inhibitors, that leads to a good corrosion protection over the entire temperature range. The corrosion protection performance is documented by standardised test method ASTM D1384.
Rodutherm® W-KFA is not miscible with other heat transfer fluids based on potassium formate.
Rodutherm® W-KFA is compatible with most technical materials. We do not recommend using Rodutherm® W-KFAin installations that contain aluminium, zinc or zinc plated steel.
