Description
FRAGOLTHERM® F-12 F is ideal for heating/cooling processes and exhibits high thermal stability. Typical applications include the pharmaceutical industry and environmental test chambers.
FRAGOLTHERM® F-12 F has a low viscosity in the low temperature range and can therefore be used between
temperature range and can therefore be used between -85 °C and 194 °C in depressurized systems. The maximum temperature of the bulk material can be increased to 230 °C in pressurized systems.
In pressurized systems, the maximum temperature of the bulk material can be increased. The film temperature at the heating element must not exceed 245 °C. When used in high temperature ranges, a nitrogen blanket in the expansion tank is recommended to prevent premature aging.
FRAGOLTHERM® F-12 F is a synthetic heat transfer fluid based on aliphatic hydrocarbons with a Fluorescent dye.
FRAGOLTHERM® F-12 F is non-corrosive and compatible with materials commonly used in heat transfer applications.
FRAGOLTHERM® F-12 F enables the detection of leaks in the system under UV light.
