Heat transfer products commonly used in industrial companies are mineral and synthetic thermal oils, thermal fluids, low pressure and high pressure steam.
The last mentioned is used less and less because of the large number of disadvantages associated with a high-pressure steam installation.
Rodun International BV limits itself to mineral and synthetic thermal fluids, whereby it can be stated that the pure mineral thermal oil is used almost exclusively in the food industry and pharmaceutical industry, and only where contamination with the product could be possible.
These so-called “food grade” HTF products have an FDA (Food & Drug Administration) and an NSF certification.
